Wildhorn Heliskiing
For ambitious skiers and snowboarders we offer Heliskiing on the 3'246m high Wildhorn near Lenk.
| Requirements: | Good skier/snowboarder. No Alpine experience necessary. |
| Route: | About the most gentle slopes of the Glacier de Ténéhet and Tungelglacier we drive to the Wildhorn hut - there it's going to Iffigsee and by Seetäli to Iffigenalp 1'584 meters above sea level. |
| Variations: | After Wildhorn hut we drive west past the Iffigsee and then rise to Iffighorn 2'378 meters above sea level. The descent takes us through the Hohberg - Pöris Hubelmatte to 1'280 meters above sea level. |
| Equipment: | Normal skiing equipment, warm clothing as protection from wind and wet weather, small rucksack with snacks, sunglasses, sunscreen and lip protection. For snowboarders: 1 additional ski pole (preferably telescopic). |
| Flight: | Take-off e.g. from Lenk/Metschparkplatz. |
| Return trip: | From Iffigenalp or Hubelmatte by taxi or bus to the train station Lenk. |
